“Tawnya was a great instructor for cultural training. She was able to take the common concepts and put them into relatable terms and provided examples to make everything applicable to real life. The exercises and examples provided in 1:1 training were immensely helpful in preparing to embark on an international assignment and helped to guide some of my packing and planning to ensure I had what I needed to get through the low points. Tawnya also has a great network of local contacts who were able to provide another layer of expertise on the different locations and their cultures. Tawnya’s experience with going on assignments and working with individuals from around the world was invaluable!”
Linden Houghtby, International Client Services Manager for a Relocation company, On assignment to Switzerland and then Singapore
“I’ve worked with Tawnya for years, and recently reconnected with her to help us through the cultural integration after an acquisition; every session with Tawnya includes a different, fresh and new “aha” moment for me, helping me work UP the cultural integration continuum. Tawnya has an amazing way of pointing out the biggest barriers to an integration and getting everyone aligned on how they can do better.”
Jennifer Eck, VP HR for Vitro (a Mexican multinational manufacturer and supplier)
“I have recently moved to Chicago from London for a one-year exchange program with my employer. I had a one day cultural training session with Tawnya in my second week in the US in November. The benefits that I got from the course far exceeded my expectations covering both key professional and personal cultural differences. Tawyna’s style is very adaptable and she built a day tailored to my requirements. The session was enjoyable and very educational with some of the cultural nuances and learnings being subtle and difficult to pick up without help. I would highly recommend Tawnya to anyone embarking on a cultural move.”
