Gabor holds degrees in languages, international relations and diplomacy (The Diplomatic Academy of Vienna), and is a Certified Management Consultant. After graduation he spent a few years working in international development and crisis management missions (United Nations, OSCE). Starting with his graduate studies, he worked as an independent researcher, consultant and trainer. In 2002, he moved to China and started his Shanghai-based consulting team, Campanile Management Consulting, three years later. He supports the senior leaders and management teams of corporations and public institutions in developing advanced intercultural leadership skills, speaks at conferences and publishes on topics related to intercultural leadership, expat careers and global cooperation. Most of his work focuses on East Asia and Europe, and relies on his team of associates fluent in many languages including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.
