"The first step is seldom backwards" (Loesje)

There are few things important to me in my professional life – independence, doing the things that matter, supporting others, interculturalism, being on the move. In my work as intercultural trainer and coach I combine all of them. I help my clients to thrive in their new country. When I meet my clients, they are full of questions and a new country, a new situation seems like a black hole. After our work together it looks more like a well-matched puzzle full of colours. Every person is a fascinating story for me, I work with flexibility and an individual approach. People feel comfortable talking to me. I am a good listener, I easily build relationships with my clients and they trust me. They feel I understand them and their challenges and that I am able to help them. I do it in a professional way using many years of experience in supporting people in their global transitions. I help my clients to understand the new country and its business culture, to identify the challenges and to understand themselves in the new context. I support them in building self-confidence, going through the transition process, developing a strategy for adjustment, redefining themselves in a new place, dealing with the feeling of loss, loneliness and lack of belonging, setting new priorities and intentions. I support them in matching their potential with the potential of the new place in the best possible way. I also work with my clients on their mental toughness and how it may influence their expat life. In my private life, I am a mother of three children; travel, hiking, mountains, live music and coffee lover.
